INTRODUCTION
Favour is a powerful force that distinguishes men and determines outcomes. Many people labour hard yet struggle endlessly, while others experience ease, access, and acceleration. The difference is often supernatural favour. Psalm 5:12 describes favour as a shield, meaning it surrounds, protects, and gives advantage beyond human effort.
A greater tomorrow is not achieved by strength or skill alone but by divine advantage. When God’s favour is activated, closed doors open, delayed matters receive approval, and opposition loses its power. Favour causes you to be helped in places where others are ignored.
This message is designed to help you understand how to activate supernatural favour in your life. As you align with God’s principles, favour will no longer be occasional but consistent, leading you boldly into the greater tomorrow God has prepared for you.
1. SUPERNATURAL FAVOUR IS A GIFT FROM GOD
Favour is not earned by human merit but released by divine grace.
It is God’s deliberate expression of kindness that elevates and distinguishes His people.
a) Favour originates from God (Psalm 5:12)
God is the source of true favour, and when He releases it, no one can withdraw it.
b) Favour separates the righteous (Proverbs 12:2)
God’s favour marks His people for blessing and distinction.
c) Favour provides divine covering (Psalm 84:11)
God’s favour functions as a shield that protects and preserves destiny.
d) Favour accelerates destiny (Genesis 39:21)
God’s favour can lift a person suddenly into prominence.
Biblical Example:
Joseph experienced God’s favour even in captivity, leading to promotion and authority (Genesis 39:21; 41:39-41).
2. RIGHTEOUS LIVING ACTIVATES SUPERNATURAL FAVOUR
Favour responds to alignment with God’s ways.
God releases favour upon those who walk in obedience and integrity.
a) Righteousness attracts favour (Proverbs 3:3-4)
Mercy, truth, and upright living draw divine approval.
b) Obedience sustains favour (Deuteronomy 28:1-2)
Continuous obedience preserves what favour brings.
c) Humility multiplies favour (Proverbs 18:12)
God resists pride but honours the humble.
d) Faithfulness preserves favour (Luke 16:10)
Stewardship in little things keeps favour active.
Biblical Example:
Daniel walked in integrity and consistency, and God granted him favour before kings and rulers (Daniel 1:9; 6:28).
3. SUPERNATURAL FAVOUR OPENS DOORS NO MAN CAN SHUT
Favour grants access beyond qualification.
When God favours a person, resistance bows and barriers collapse.
a) Favour creates divine access (Revelation 3:8)
God opens doors that no human power can close.
b) Favour changes decisions (Esther 2:15-17)
God can influence hearts to decide in your favour.
c) Favour breaks protocols (Genesis 41:14)
God’s favour can bypass normal processes.
d) Favour silences opposition (Psalm 102:13)
Divine timing and favour overcome resistance.
Biblical Example:
Esther found favour with the king, resulting in deliverance and promotion for her people (Esther 5:2; 8:1-8).
4. SUPERNATURAL FAVOUR SECURES A GREATER TOMORROW
Favour is not only for today but for the future.
God’s favour positions believers for sustained progress and relevance.
a) Favour brings growth and balance (Luke 2:52)
Jesus grew in wisdom, stature, and favour with God and man.
b) Favour establishes long-term success (Psalm 30:5)
God’s favour endures beyond temporary seasons.
c) Favour positions you for divine timing (Psalm 102:13)
God releases favour at appointed seasons.
d) Favour turns labour into testimony (Psalm 90:17)
God’s favour establishes the work of our hands.
Biblical Example:
David walked in God’s favour, moving from obscurity to kingship by divine appointment (1 Samuel 16:12-13; 2 Samuel 5:10).
CONCLUSION
Supernatural favour is a divine advantage that makes a greater tomorrow possible. It is God’s way of helping His people move forward with ease, protection, and speed. Where human effort ends, favour begins.
As you walk in righteousness, humility, and obedience, God’s favour will surround you like a shield. Doors will open, helpers will appear, and your path will be illuminated. Your greater tomorrow shall be secured by the favour of the Lord.
