ACCOUNTABILITY

Deuteronomy 24:16The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

Romans 14:12So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Every word.

Matthew 12:36But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Men must be faithful.

1st Corinthians 4:2Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

Reap what you sow.

Job 4:8Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.

Weakness in the heart.

Proverbs 6:12A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.

13He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;

14Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.

Don’t give to brag.

Matthew 9:1Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

We need to sow more.

Psalms 126:5They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

We need to sow for ourselves

Hosea 10:12Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
