The Bible says that there is one God. This one God, however, is expressed in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The Bible does not say that there are three Gods. One God – Triune!

The Second Person of this Holy Trinity is God the Son, Jesus Christ, Who is co-equal with God and was manifested in flesh. He took upon Himself human form; He is completely both God and man. He is the Saviour of the world!

Everything about His birth, His life, His death, burial and resurrection had been foretold by God, angels and the prophets and it all came to pass accordingly.

His Birth

Matthew 1:22,23 So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us."

Luke 1:30,31 Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS”.

His Life

Zechariah 9:9 "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly .....”

Matthew 2:23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, "He shall be called a Nazarene."

Isaiah 53:2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him.

His Death, Burial and His Resurrection

1 Corinthians 15:3,4 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,

Luke 24:46 Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,"

About His Words

John 7:45,47 Then the officers came to the chief priests and Pharisees, who said to them, "Why have you not brought Him? "The officers answered, "No man ever spoke like this Man!"

John 6:67 Then Jesus said to the twelve, "Do you also want to go away?" But Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.

About His Way of Life

Jesus Himself once asked the Pharisees and the religious leaders in John 8:46 "Which of you convicts Me of sin?...”

John 19:4 Pilate (the Governor who examined Jesus) then went out again, and said to them, "Behold, I am bringing Him out to you, that you may know that I find no fault in Him."

Judas who betrayed Jesus confessed in Matthew 27:4 saying, "I have sinned by betraying innocent blood."

Matthew 27:54 So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, "Truly this was the Son of God!"

Acts 10:38 "how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

1 John 3:5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.

Jesus, as a sacrificial Lamb took the sins of all humankind upon Himself, He shed His Blood for the cleansing of our sins and died for us.

John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

There is forgiveness of sins when you believe in Him.

Acts 10:43 "To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins."

Romans 10:11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."

Acts 4:12 "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

There is eternal life in Him
