INTRODUCTION:
We serve a God who is not just willing, but able. His power is beyond comprehension and His ability surpasses human limitations. Many times we look at our situations and doubt what can be done, but Scripture constantly reminds us: God is able! This message will strengthen your faith in the ABILITY of our God to do the impossible.
1. GOD IS ABLE TO DO BEYOND HUMAN IMAGINATION
a) He Exceeds Expectations (Ephesians 3:20)
God doesn’t just meet needs—He surpasses them.
b) His Power Is Unlimited (Jeremiah 32:27)
No case is too hard for Him.
c) He Operates Beyond Human Reasoning (Isaiah 55:8-9)
What seems impossible to man is a simple matter before God.
d) His Thoughts Toward Us Are Always Good (Jeremiah 29:11)
He plans to give us a future filled with hope.
Biblical Example: Sarah bore a child at age 90, proving that nothing is too hard for the Lord (Genesis 18:10-14).
2. GOD IS ABLE TO DELIVER FROM EVERY TROUBLE
a) He Rescues from Danger (Psalm 34:19)
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers.
b) He Defends His Own (Exodus 14:13-14)
God fights for those who trust in Him.
c) His Deliverance Is Timely and Sure (Psalm 46:1)
He is a very present help in trouble.
d) He Turns Every Captivity Around (Psalm 126:1)
What looks like bondage today can become a testimony tomorrow.
Biblical Example: Daniel in the lions’ den came out unhurt because God was able to shut the lions' mouths (Daniel 6:16-22).
3. GOD IS ABLE TO SAVE COMPLETELY
a) He Saves to the Uttermost (Hebrews 7:25)
There is no depth of sin He cannot rescue from.
b) Salvation Is Available and Sure (Romans 10:13)
Whoever calls on Him shall be saved.
c) His Grace Is Sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9)
No weakness can hinder His saving grace.
d) His Blood Speaks Mercy (Hebrews 12:24)
The blood of Jesus secures our eternal redemption.
Biblical Example: The thief on the cross was saved at the last moment (Luke 23:42-43).
4. GOD IS ABLE TO KEEP YOU FROM FALLING
a) He Preserves the Saints (Jude 1:24)
He is able to present us faultless before His glory.
b) His Spirit Strengthens Us (Isaiah 40:29-31)
He gives power to the faint.
c) Temptations Cannot Overwhelm Us (1 Corinthians 10:13)
He provides a way of escape.
d) We Are Kept by His Power (1 Peter 1:5)
Our security is not in our strength but His might.
Biblical Example: Peter, though sifted by Satan, was restored and strengthened (Luke 22:31–32; John 21:15–17).
5. GOD IS ABLE TO SUPPLY EVERY NEED
a) He Owns All Resources (Haggai 2:8)
Silver and gold belong to Him.
b) He Supplies According to His Riches (Philippians 4:19)
His provision is not limited by earthly economies.
c) He Multiplies the Little (2 Kings 4:1–7)
What you have is enough in God's hands.
d) He Provides Supernaturally (Matthew 6:33)
When you seek first His kingdom, all other things follow.
Biblical Example: Jesus fed over five thousand with five loaves and two fishes (John 6:1–13).
CONCLUSION:
No matter what you are facing today, know this: God is able! His power has no limit. His promises never fail. His plans are perfect. Place your trust in His ability and you will see Him move mountains for you.
