Acts 2:44 - 47
1. A balanced diet leads to good health
A. The church is the Body of Christ
B. A healthy body naturally grows
C. A healthy body is not as succeptible to disease
D. If any one element is too dominant the body is out of balance
2. The elements that go into a healthy church diet
A. Evangelism
- We are the mouth of Christ
- We have been commanded to go and tell
B. Ministry
- We are the hands of Jesus
- Giving of ourselves to meet the needs of those around us
- Wherever, whenever and immediately
C. Discipleship
- Be transformed by the renewing of your mind
- Learning God’s will for your life
- Becoming more Christlike
D. Fellowship
- Identifies you as a member of the body of Christ
- Edifies each other.
- Builds each other up.
- Support, and encouragement
E. Worship
- Magnifies God
- Puts things into perspective
- We were made to worship
3. Everyday the Lord added to their number
A. God provided the growth
B. God’s plan is for growth
