The concept of giving thanks, or “thanksgiving” in Greek came from two root words: “eu” = good or well
“charis” = grace
The Good Response to Something Undeserved.
Four Examples of Thanksgiving from Paul’s Letter to the Romans
Ø Romans 1:8 – Being Thankful for One Another.
Ø Romans 7:24-25a – Being Thankful for What God is Doing In Me.
Ø Romans 14:6 – Being Thankful for Christian Liberty as well as the Grace to Live a Holy Life.
Ø Romans 16:3-5 – Being Thankful for Fellow – Workers.
Conclusion – 2 Corinthians 4:15
