• Dehydrated foods

• Man - physical

What happens when something is in the state of being dry?

• Parched

• Shrivels

• Wilts

• Withers

• Dies

What to do with things that are dry?

• Make wet

• To soak

• Rehydrate

• David prayed while in the wilderness

• All is in vain unless the Spirit of God comes down

• Psalms 63:1, 0 God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.

• Psalms 68:6, God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

• Man - spiritual

• Church - dry, no life, no spirit, no vision, complacent, dead

Christians and the church today have the know-how, the building, and the organization. But unfortunately, the impact on the community is weak.

Are we so dry that we cannot point others to the One who can give water to those in a dry land?
