E- ternity

• The two destinations of eternity

1. The broad gate that leads to destruction (Matthew 7:13)

2. The narrow gate that leads to life (Matthew 7:14)

• The two descriptions of eternity

1. Hell is described as:

a. A place of darkness (Matt. 22:13)

b. A place of eternal grief (Matt. 22:13)

c. A place eternal torment (Matt. 22:13)

2. Heaven is described as:

a. A place of indescribable beauty (Rev. 21:9-21)

b. A place free of death, grief, pain (Rev. 21:4)

c. A place of worship

S- in

• Sin is our enemy

1. The enemy of our mortal life

2. The enemy of our eternal soul (Romans 6:23)

• Sin is a defeated enemy

1. Because of the blood of Christ (Hebrews 10:12)

2. Because of trust in Christ (John 1:12)

• You may need to trust Christ while there is time

• You should forgive and seek forgiveness while there is time
