Summary: Heaven is a "prepared place for prepared people, Hell is a prepared place for unprepared people."
A Place Prepared For You
Heaven is a prepared place for prepared people. John 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Hell is a prepared place for unprepared people. Matt. 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.
Heaven will have the JOYS OF THY LORD. Mt 25:23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Hell will be weeping and wailing Matt. 13:38-42 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. There will be useless weeping in Hell. Your tears will be no value in Hell. You will be lost.
No Mercy in hell Luke 16:22 - The rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeing Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
He cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
Job 26:6 Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.
Ps 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
In the KJV there are 551 verses on Heaven
Matt 5:12 Tells us to be happy. Your reward is GREAT...”Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven:
The Christian Life isn’t easy, but your rewards are great in Heaven.
The sinner’s life may be easy, but the end result is death Prov 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
How can we become a prepared people for a Prepared Heaven?
Mt 18:3 Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Realize the love that God has for you and God has a plan for your life John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." It has been said that this is the “keynote” verse in the Bible. God gave his son so WE could have everlasting life.
Realize we have all sinned - Romans 3:23" For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Know that sin must be paid for - "For the wages of sin is death..."
Realize Christ paid our debt for sin - "But God demonstrated his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
Accept God's offer on God's terms:
God's terms for Salvation:
1. Believe -"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved..." (Acts 16:31)
Repent - Acts 3:19 "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing might come from the Lord."
Confess -"If you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
Baptized - (Jesus said) "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. (Mark 16:16)
