What will this year bring? What will we paint on this canvas? What will be different about this coming year? What things are we ready to leave behind and what new things will we take up?

As we dive into this new year together, let's see what the Bible has to say about new beginnings and fresh starts. We're going to look at Psalm 149 and Matthew 13 today.

So, in these passages, we see that there are different types of people when it comes to faith. There are those who've never sung the song of faith before, those who've stopped singing for one reason or another, and those who just can't stop singing praise.

Faith Journey

If you've never sung the song of faith before, maybe you've been watching from a distance, trying to figure out if this whole faith thing is for you. Well, today could be the day you start singing! It could be the perfect day for God to put a new song in your heart.

Now, if you've stopped singing for some reason, maybe you got hurt, discouraged, or distracted. It's okay, it happens to all of us. But today is a good day to start singing again. Remember, it's never too late to start fresh and try again.
