Summary: Become new in Christ Jesus through the grace of God.

A NEW CREATURE

2Cor.5; 17For indeed he accepted the exhortation; but being more forward, of his own accord he went unto you.

The Bible speaks of two creations.

One is material; the other is spiritual in nature.

God spoke in the beginning, bringing in to existence the Heaven and earth.

Creation takes place each time a sinner is converted to Jesus Christ

This is plainly stated “If any man be in Christ ,he is anew creature”

There is no question of age, race or social standing political power nor does moral condition enter in.

With one stroke of the pen Paul describes the new creature.

1. The absence of old things

“Old things are passed away”

Col. 3: 5Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

6For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

7In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

8But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

9Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

10And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

11Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Twelve sinful things are divided into two groups.

Wicked love: Fornication; uncleanness :passion ;evil desire

James 1: 15Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

And covetousness God slays these things Ver.6

Wicked hatred

Anger; malice; railing: falsehood: snobbishness; religious cultural Ver. 11

2.The presence new things:

11Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

No matter who you are Christ died for you

You no one to follow but Jesus

He will set you free

All sin is gone when we accept him.
