A MOTHER’s HONOR—Exodus 20:12
Attention:
Bob a Tight-wad/Developer-Landlord whose Mother worked for years cleaning office buildings/
Bob tells Jerry—‘I’ve lived 35yrs. seeing those people making my mother slave away from dusk till dawn—3rd shift. I got tired of it, so I bought the building!
Jerry—‘Whoa, that’s a huge sacrifice for your Momma. Its obvious that you love her. Not many sons would do that for theirs even if they had the money!’
Jerry—So what has she been doing with her new-found freedom?
Bob—Well she can sleep a lot better now.
Jerry—That’s great! You really love your mother!
Bob—Yeah, when I bought the building, I moved her to day shift!

Titus 2:3-4—“the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things-- that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,”
Argumentation:
Deut. 7:1-4—““When the LORD your God brings you into the land which you go to possess, & has cast out many nations before you, the Hittites & the Girgashites & the Amorites & the Canaanites & the Perizzites & the Hivites & the Jebusites, seven nations greater & mightier than you, “& when the LORD your God delivers them over to you, you shall conquer them & utterly destroy them. You shall make no covenant with them nor show mercy to them. “Nor shall you make marriages with them. You shall not give your daughter to their son, nor take their daughter for your son. “For they will turn your sons away from following Me, to serve other gods; so the anger of the LORD will be aroused against you & destroy you suddenly.”
Prov. 31:11-12—“The heart of her husband safely trusts her; So he will have no lack of gain. She does him good & not evil All the days of her life.”
Prov. 31:28-30—“Her children rise up & call her blessed; Her husband also, & he praises her: “Many daughters have done well, But you excel them all.” Charm is deceitful & beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.”
