Summary: Remember, a godly wife is a gift from God...

In Proverbs 18:22, it says, "He who finds a wife finds a treasure, and receives favor from the Lord." A godly wife is indeed a treasure, a precious gift from God. Let's look at some examples from the Bible.

Remember Isaac and Rebekah? Their marriage was arranged by God Himself. When Isaac saw Rebekah, he knew she was the one. He loved her and cherished her, and she became his comfort and partner (Genesis 24:67).

Or think of Aquila and Priscilla, a couple who worked together in ministry, supporting each other and serving God as a team (Acts 18:26). They were a treasure to each other and to the early church.

In the New Testament, we see the example of Peter, who calls wives "co-heirs of the grace of life" (1 Peter 3:7). A godly wife is not just a helper but a partner in every sense, sharing in the joys and challenges of life.

A godly wife brings:

- Wisdom (Proverbs 19:14)

- Encouragement (Proverbs 31:28)

- Support (Genesis 2:18)

- Joy (Proverbs 5:18)

- Favor from the Lord (Proverbs 18:22)

If you are married, cherish your wife as a treasure from God. If you are single, pray for a godly partner who will be your treasure and partner in life.

Remember, a godly wife is a gift from God, a treasure to cherish and honor. As we see in these examples, she brings joy, support, and favor from the Lord.
