A few days later King Agrippa arrived with his sister, Bernice, to pay their respects to Festus.

During their stay of several days, Festus discussed Paul’s case with the king. “There is a prisoner here,” he told him, “whose case was left for me by Felix.

When I was in Jerusalem, the leading priests and Jewish elders pressed charges against him and asked me to condemn him.

Psalms 2:1-4 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Why are the nations so angry? Why do they waste their time with futile plans?

The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the Lord and against his anointed one.

“Let us break their chains,” they cry, “and free ourselves from slavery to God.”

But the one who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them.

The LORD JESUS CHRIST who is Yahweh Yeshua sitting on the throne, laughs at the people who plans evil for his servants, the LORD JESUS CHRIST even scoffs at them.

C. He listened to Paul's message regarding faith in JESUS.

Acts 26:1-2 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You may speak in your defense.” So Paul, gesturing with his hand, started his defense:

Romans 10:17 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.

Psalms 44:4-8 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

You are my King and my God. You command victories for Israel.

Only by your power can we push back our enemies; only in your name can we trample our foes.

I do not trust in my bow; I do not count on my sword to save me.

You are the one who gives us victory over our enemies; you disgrace those who hate us.

O God, we give glory to you all day long and constantly praise your name. Interlude

Psalms 47:7 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

For God is the King over all the earth. Praise him with a psalm!

If only King Agrippa allowed Paul to finish his message about the LORD JESUS CHRIST, he could be the next King David who was king and still acknowledge GOD as his GOD and KING.

D. He never thought he could be a CHRISTian

Acts 26:28 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Agrippa interrupted him. “Do you think you can persuade me to become a Christian so quickly?”

Isaiah 49:8 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

This is what the Lord says: “At just the right time, I will respond to you. On the day of salvation I will help you. I will protect you and give you to the people as my covenant with them. Through you I will reestablish the land of Israel and assign it to its own people again.

2 Corinthians 6:2 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.

Now is the time for salvation, any time will do, after you heard the GOSPEL. It's the way it should be or you have already rejected the LORD JESUS CHRIST. There's no problem with the message and the messenger, the problem is in the heart of man that can't believe in the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
