Summary: The kind of heart God wants
INTRODUCTION:
If God were to look at your heart today, what would He see?
OR maybe, the better question is, would your heart attract God? Would He even want to take a glimpse of your heart? Or will He be repulsed?
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” – Proverbs 4:23
If God’s business is the business of the heart, it should be ours as well. Therefore, let us all strive for:
A HEART THAT PLEASES GOD

a. Love God with your ALL (Matthew 22:37-38 “Jesus replied, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.”)
b. Love others AS yourself (Matthew 22:39 “And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.”)
2. A GIVING HEART
a. Give your smile (encouragement)
b. Give your shoulder (support, comfort)
c. Give your hand (help)
3. A THANKFUL HEART
- 1 Thessalonians 5:18 “give thanks in all circumstances…”
- Israelites’ complaining heart
4. A HUMBLE HEART
- We often think of humility as the absence of pride. But humility is also the ablity to accept one’s wrong.
