Summary: A fruitful life is demonstrated of how much you know of God and how much changed does it bring to your self.
INTRODUCTION
The Fruitful Life begins with a desire for…
I. SPIRITUAL GROWTH
A. Knowledge of God (John 17:3; John 15:1-8)
B. Inner-self change (“Pagkatao”; Galatians 5:22-23)
A fruitful life is demonstrated of how much you know of God and how much changed does it bring to your self.
When I first received a love letter from the woman that I desired to live with for life, I always had a time to read it. If I don’t have time, I make time for reading. That’s how I tried to get to know the one that I love. If I want to see the one I love, I find ways to see her. Do you want to know God? Desire for it!
The Fruitful life is best shown by your growing awareness of your…
II. SOCIAL RESPONSIBILTY
A. Neighbor-Conscience—model of acceptable life (to God)
B. Community Conscious-somebody has to start building a new community, it must begin with the believers (Genesis 18:16-33)
A fruitful life is demonstrated of how much you were able to become an agent of change in the community and become the reason of favor from God in behalf of your community.
How is this related to my work?
When you are conscious of your social responsibility as demonstration of your true spirituality the more you become faithful in giving back the portion that belongs to God from the earnings you got from your work.
You will become more a good neighbor if reach them for God by allowing the resources of God to go to them through your ministry in the neighborhood.
REFLECTIONS:
1. How’s our life now?
2. How much of the new life in Christ are we living?
3. Have they notice the changed we have?
RESOLUTIONS:
1. Pray to God for help in identifying the areas in life that needs to be changed.
2. List down steps of how you would totally disposed the old mindset.
3. Ask somebody to be your accountability partner.
CONCLUSION
The fruitful life is not about material blessings. It is about the fruit or result that is brought about by our new relationship with God. It is a change from within and being brought outside. It is change of real self and bringing that change to the community you belong.
