A Fool Says There Is No god. Series

The Bible warns us about the foolishness of denying God's existence. In Psalm 14:1, it says, "The fool says in his heart, 'There is no God.'" This verse reminds us that a life without God is a life built on shaky ground.

Throughout the Bible, we see evidence of God's existence and power. From creation to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, God's divine handiwork is evident. In Romans 1:20, Paul writes, "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities ,his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made."

Yet, despite this overwhelming evidence, there are those who choose to deny God's existence. They may claim to be wise, but they are foolish. In Proverbs 1:7, we read, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction."

The most fundamental truth of our faith is salvation comes through Jesus Christ. In John 14:6, Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Throughout the Bible, we see the theme of salvation woven throughout .In the Old Testament, God promised a Messiah who would save His people from their sins. And in the New Testament, we see the fulfilment of that promise in Jesus Christ.

In Romans 3:24–25, Paul writes, "and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood to be received by faith."

Salvation is only through Jesus Christ.

Salvation is a gift of grace, freely given through faith in Jesus Christ. It's not something we can earn or deserve, but something we receive through the mercy and love of God.

As we reflect on this incredible truth, let us remember the words of Jesus in Luke 19:10, "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." May we be grateful for the gift of salvation and share the good news with those around us who are still lost.

John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

This statement is clear and definitive. Jesus is the only way to the Father, the only path to salvation. In Acts 4:12, Peter boldly declares, "And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

The Bible teaches us that all humans have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. But God demonstrates His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus took the punishment for our sins upon Himself, so that we could be reconciled to God.

In John 3:16–18, we read, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."

In Psalm 96:5, we read, "For all gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens."

Throughout history, humanity has been tempted to worship false gods, idols made of wood, stone, or gold, ideologies like power, wealth, or fame, even created things like nature or ourselves. But the Bible reminds us that these gods are mere idols, empty and powerless.

In contrast, our God is the Creator, the one true God who reigns supreme. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God who revealed Himself to Moses and the prophets. Our God is a God of love, justice, and mercy, who desires a personal relationship with each of us.

In 1 John 5:21, we read, "Dear children, keep yourselves from idols." Let us be mindful of the false gods that surround us and instead fix our eyes on the one true God. May we worship Him in spirit and truth, and find our hope and salvation in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God. Amen!
