CHURCH ON THE MOVE (Saint John 1:35-42)

God needs a Church that will be on the move. Those of us who are redeemed can not have a REMOVED attitude. A REMOVED attitude says, "It’s not my problem; it’s not my concern."

God needs a church on the move -

Where The Pastor Moves Over

The Members Move Up

The Devil and Disharmony Moves Out

So, The Holy Spirit Can Move In

- Then And Only Then - Can The Church Move On.

God has called United Believers to be a church on the move.

A CHURCH ON THE MOVE MUST HAVE A MOVER. Are you aware that the Holy Ghost is the Mover for the church. That old negro song says, "That it was the Holy Ghost "moving" down in my soul." The Bible says, that when the Earth was dark and without form - the Holy Ghost "moved" upon the face of the water. In other words, there ought to be some movement within the church!

That’s why when I come to church - Not only do I want a:

THEOLOGY but I want a THEOPHANY

some DISCIPLINE but I want to DANCE

STUDY but I also want to SHOUT

WORK but I also want to WORSHIP

PROGRAM but I also want to PRAISE

ANALYZE but I also want the ANOINTING

A sermon that makes me SIT DOWN and THINK, but one also need one that makes me STAND UP and CLAP.

Not only do I need a Word For My HEAD, but I want a Word for my HEART.

There are seven steps to make it up this ladder of leadership or this staircase of servanthood. To make it to a new level in your ministry you must follow these steps from the scripture.

1. JOHN STOOD - (verse 35)

You must understand your VALUE.

2. AND LOOKING UPON JESUS AS HE WALKED - (verse 36a)

You must have a VISION

3. BEHOLD, (verse 36 b)

You must have a VIEWING POINT

4. THE LAMB OF GOD (36 c)

You need to have a VICTIM.

GOD IS LIKE A CALCULATOR

A CALCULATOR IS NOT ONLY GOOD FOR WHAT IT CAN DO; BUT ALSO WHAT IT CAN UNDO. GOD IS ABLE TO HIT THE CLEAR BUTTON OF REDEMPTION AND REMOVE ALL OUR GUILT AND STAIN. TO THE HUMAN MIND IT IS UNCLEAR HOW THE LORD CLEARS - BUT LET ME TELL YOU -CLEARLY - HE CAN DO IT.

5. AND THE TWO DISCIPLES HEARD HIM SPEAK (verse 37)

You must have Holy VERNACULAR

6. COME AND SEE, THEY CAME AND SAW, ABODE WITH HIM THAT DAY, ANDREW, BROUGHT HIS BROTHER PETER TO THE LORD (verses 39 - 40)

The church needs VOLUNTEERS

7. AND HE BROUGHT HIM TO JESUS -

You ought to want to take part in this VENTURE.

If the trees and the grass can grow. I believe the church can grow. Can’t you see growth all around us? Grow, United Believers, Grow! Hallelujah. Amen.
