VII. EXPLICATION:

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. A child is known by his acts or doings

"Even a child is known by his acts,"

Child or "naar" in Hebrew means:

1. a boy

2. from the age of infancy to adolescence

3. by implication a servant

4. a girl

5. babe, boy, child, damsel [from the margin], lad, servant, young (man)

Proverbs 22:15 (Amplified Bible)

22:15 Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far from him.

Proverbs 21:8 (Amplified Bible)

21:8 The way of the guilty is exceedingly crooked, but as for the pure, his work is right and his conduct is straight.

Psalms 51:5 (Amplified Bible)

51:5 Behold, I was brought forth in [a state of] iniquity; my mother was sinful who conceived me [and I too am sinful].

Ephesians 2:3 (Amplified Bible)

2:3 Among these we as well as you once lived and conducted ourselves in the passions of our flesh [our behavior governed by our corrupt and sensual nature], obeying the impulses of the flesh and the thoughts of the mind [our cravings dictated by our senses and our dark imaginings]. We were then by nature children of [God’s] wrath and heirs of [His] indignation, like the rest of mankind.

As believers we know we are taught by GOD in His WORDS to be doers and not hearers only. We now obey the righteousness of GOD.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (Amplified Bible)

5:21 For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].

B. Whether it be pure and right

"whether [or not] what he does is pure and right"

Pure or "zak" in Hebrew means: clear, clean

Right or "ashar" in Hebrew means: straight, convenient, equity, uprightness.

Illustration:

JESUS in His Childhood is known already that they He is the Son of GOD.

Our Perfect Example is JESUS that is separated from birth (actually from eternity if we based it on His Aleph-Tav signatures)

Luke 2:46-49 (Amplified Bible)

2:46 After three days they found Him [came upon Him] in the [court of the] temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.

2:47 And all who heard Him were astonished and overwhelmed with bewildered wonder at His intelligence and understanding and His replies.

2:48 And when they [Joseph and Mary] saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, Child, why have You treated us like this? Here Your father and I have been anxiously looking for You [distressed and tormented].

2:49 And He said to them, How is it that you had to look for Me? Did you not see and know that it is necessary [as a duty] for Me to be in My Father’s house and [occupied] about My Father’s business?

Luke 6:43-44 (Amplified Bible)

6:43 For there is no good (healthy) tree that bears decayed (worthless, stale) fruit, nor on the other hand does a decayed (worthless, sickly) tree bear good fruit.

6:44 For each tree is known and identified by its own fruit; for figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor is a cluster of grapes picked from a bramblebush.
