A Book on Revelation; A Revealing

Psalm 19: 9-14

9. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of the Lord are true and

righteous altogether.

10. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

11. Moreover by them your servant is warned, and in keeping them there is a great

reward.

12. Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from my secret faults.

13. Keep back your servant from presumptuous sins: let them not have dominion over

Me. Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of great transgression.

14. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your

sight, O Lord, my strength and redeemer.

God knows everything that there is to know. He knows how high the Heavens are.

He knows how many stars are in the sky. He even knows how many pieces of sand that is in every desert in this world.

We serve a God who knows everything about this universe and world that we live in.

Do we realize that not only does God know about the universe, but He also is a personal God who knows everything about you and me?

He knows how many hairs are in your head, He knows when you’re sad. He knows when you’re hurt. He knows when you are broke.

We plainly serve a God that plainly knows!

1 Peter 1:13 it says,

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

The New American Standard says to prepare your minds for action.

Are your minds prepared for action this morning?

What has God already done for you this morning? Do you believe that He can do it again?

When 1 Peter 1:13 at the Revelation of Jesus Christ, He is talking about the rapture.

But it also means that there will be a revealing of Christ Jesus to the church in the day we live in.

In Hebrews 12: 1-2 it talks about how they were surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses.

It talks about laying down every weight and sin in our lives and running the race of life.

Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith; He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End.

Jesus is the same as He was in Biblical times; what He did then He will still do today. Do you believe?

On 4-18-06, I had the following dream:

I dreamed that Jesus was walking through a big church and He was revealing Himself to different people. He was showing that He was alive. The church wasn’t that full.

Are your minds prepared for action? Do you believe that there is a revealing taking place?

I’ve entitled this, this morning, “A Book on Revelation; A Revealing”

Dream 2-13-07

I dreamed that Susan and I walked into the church as Debra was cleaning it. I noticed that she had a worship C.D. or tape in playing. Susan walked up to me and showed me what Deb gave to her. It was 2 books; the first one was what looked like a kid’s book. It was a long rectangular book. It was called A Book on Revelation. The second book was a book that was for someone more mature (adults). I noticed as she was cleaning, she got upset. I thought she left, so I dressed down into something more comfortable. I then noticed that she did not leave, but was talking to Susan. I had to hurry up and get my other clothes on. I was ashamed for her to see me that way. I woke up.

Interpretation

The church needs cleaned!

Worship music, we need to worship the Lord.

The dream is dealing with our walks.

Deb gave Susan to books, 2 represents relationship between God and man.

The first book looked like a kid’s book, (a book on Revelation) we are all the children of God. God reveals things to His children.

The second book was for someone more mature. Maybe some of us need more maturity in our walks.

I think Deb has left and I dress down, how many of us are more spiritual when other believers are around.

What are we like behind the scenes of the Church? God knows.

When I knew she was still there, I had to hurry and put my other clothes on. I was ashamed for her to see me that way.

We need the fear of the Lord that endures forever; the fear of the Lord is clean.

Do we have secret faults? We’re not perfect by a long shot, we need cleansed from our secret faults.
