We believe in the Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets.
The Nicene Creed speaks of the Holy Spirit in between the resurrection of Christ and the church!
The Holy Spirit is the link between the resurrected Christ and the living church!
There’s no church without the Holy Spirit!
The same power that raised Christ from the dead is now at work in us, the people of his church.
We believe the Holy Spirit is the giver of life.
A church without the person and power of the Holy Spirit is just a legal and lifeless institution.
Genesis 1:2 – the earth was formless and empty, but the Spirit was hovering over the waters!!
John 6:63 NIV
“The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are Spirit and they are life.”
We believe the Holy Spirit is God.
Who proceeds from the Father and the Son, With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified.
The Holy Spirit is not a “force” or accessory piece.
The Holy Spirit is worthy of our worship because the Holy Spirit is God.
We believe the Holy Spirit speaks
“He has spoken through the Prophets.”
The Holy Spirit makes it possible for us to experience God everyday
John 6:63 – “The words I have spoken to you are Spirit and they are life.”
Scripture is a text that’s alive with the voice of God!

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
The Holy Spirit was sent by the Father to be our advocate.
The Holy Spirit teaches us and reminds us!
The Holy Spirit leads us to peace in a troubled world.
