“PRECIOUS BLOOD”

Our body must have blood in order to live, our spirit must have the blood of Christ in order to live forever and ever.

1st Peter 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

1. Blood Redeems from sin

Eph 1 :7In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

2. The Blood justifies from sins guilt

Romans 5:9Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

3.The Blood releases sins Bondage

Rev. 1:5And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

4. The Blood cleanses from sins defilement

1st John 1:7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Blood is the symbol of life

Lev.17:11For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Not just life but poured forth in death

Matt . 26:28For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Apart from shedding of blood there is no remission

Hebrews 9:22And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Christ’s sacrifice in the past; remains today

Hebrews 10:12But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
