Summary: Stop complaining and go to work for the Lord.
“ FAINT NOT”
Matt.15: 32Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.
(1) In prayer
Luke 18: 1And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Every Christian needs to pray
So many times we come up short because we don’t pray
Jesus says men ought to pray
To many times we faint and don’t pray
(2) In confidence
2nd Cor.4: 1Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
God gives us mercy
We are show mercy in our ministry for the Lord
Don’t ever give up
Keep fighting
(3) In hope
2nd Cor.4: 16For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
Hope keeps on going
Our body may perish but we live on
We have to renew ourselves each day
We faint not but keep the faith
(4) In work
Gal. 6: 9And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
We are weary at times
We are well doing because God supplies all our needs.
We will reap what we sow
Don’t ever quit keep on keeping on
(5) In trusting
Eph.3: 13Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
Trust God in every thing
Trials
Test
Temptation
Suffering
(6) In well doing
2nd Thess.3: 13But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
Don’t weep and howl just believe and pray
Quit gripping
Stop whining
Start looking at what more you can do
(7) Under chastening
Heb.12: 7If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
Learn to suffer a little
He that endures will prosper
We have to be corrected for our wrong
Boy I am glad God whips us for our wrongs
No correction no saved
