Summary: Encouragement for Kingdom workers

What should a servant of YAHWEH expect?

A servant of YAHWEH should expect the following though not always but almost always:

Preparation

YAHWEH always prepares HIS servants to serve HIM. This may be through our experiences or the experiences of others. Every experience is beneficial to us and to YAHWEH. YAHWEH will never just let things happen for the sake of them happening. The Bible tells us that no good thing will YAHWEH withhold from those that walk uprightly. Remember HE is The ELOHIM of love, order, care and compassion. He prepared Moses, David, YAHSHUA. HE most definitely will prepare you and use you for HIS service. Do not abhor, hinder or delay  the preparation. Rather learn from and through it graciously. The case of Moses has to be brought up again here: Moses spent almost forty years in the palace learning the art of government, war, leadership and management as was customary for princes at that time. He spent another forty years learning the desert where He would spend the next forty years with YAHWEH’s chosen people, practicing on Jethro’s sheep. Yes, YAHWEH most definitely will prepare you.

2. Work

Service to YAHWEH is work. You will expend yourself  and your energy. You are the property of YAHWEH.

Moses climbed Mt. Sinai over and over again. YAHSHUA ministered daily. Fatigue is recorded in both cases. Elijah once prayed “Enough ! Let me die!” As demonstrated here, service to YAHWEH requires energy and is not for lazy people. It is rewarding and fulfilling and still not a walk in the park. A word of advice, your body is the temple of YAHWEH, take care of it as you need it.

3. Help from YAHWEH

YAHWEH calls us to serve HIM. Yet HE does the work through us. HE does not abandon us to our own devices. HIS grace is sufficient for us and HE always sends help in the form of HIS word, a person or even an angel. HE is known to have sent help through animals too. Nothing is impossible for HIM. HE will help you serve Him. Isn’t that excellent?

4. Rejection followed by acceptance and accolades. Remember to give the glory to YAHWEH

The accolades may not follow when you are alive. Servants of YAHWEH are known to have suffered great mistreatments and sufferings. Your family may not even understand hat you are saying let alone doing and may brand you lazy and looking for an easy way out. Talk to the FATHER about this and ask HIM how to handle this situation. HE told Elisha to leave his father and mother in honor and respect. David moved his parents to a more secure place. YAHWEH will make a way where there seems to be no way. There may be no easy way out. Obey HIM. HE is in control. Remember HE is not known for abandoning HIS children. HIS love for us is unending and HE is always with us.

5. Being a target of attack

Currently, Christian servants of YAHWEH are the butt of jokes and are blamed for almost everything and there are plans to regulate them. Remember, the church belongs to CHRIST and the gates of hell will not prevail. As one Bishop put it when asked about the state of the church” The Body of CHRIST is alive and well” and I may add against all odds.

6. Be used

Off course YAHWEH will use you and people will use you. Some will outright take advantage of you and expect you to take it lying down because you are YAHWEHS servant. Now, unless you are in deep communion with YAHWEH you are unlikely to succeed. YAHSHUA exhorted HIS followers to pray without ceasing. Among the things to pray for is for deliverance from evil. This can be interpreted to mean things and persons that are not YAHWEH’s will for us. Service to YAHWEH means being attached to the VINE apart from whom you can bear no fruit. HE will guide and direct. The word of YAHWEH is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.

7. Be followed for various reasons

People followed YAHSHUA for a variety of reasons; entertainment, food, to be in a crowd, excitement you names it. Expect all sorts of people and I mean all sorts of people to follow you. Trust in YAHWEH, HE will give you people whose ministration is entrusted to you.
