Summary: God has a purpose and so does satan when we face trials in life.
1. Testing from God - vs. 12
A. The nature of it - It is a call to faithfulness.
B. The purpose of it - God's purpose is always to bless.
1) We will develop Godly character in this life.
2) We will receive a reward in the next life.
2. Testing from Satan - vs. 13-15
A. The nature of it - It is a call to sin.
B. The purpose of it - Satan's purpose is always to destroy.
