7 QUESTIONS OF THE RESURRECTED CHRIST
1.WHY ARE YOU WEEPING ?
Jesus asked this woman ’why are you weeping ?’.She was weeping in her ignorance of the resurrection of Jesus. Jesus had already risen from the dead. There
was no reason for her to weep instead she should have been rejoicing. But in her ignorance she was weeping.Sometimes we forget the promises of God and the
power of God and we drown ourselves in sorrow.Jesus is asking us ’why are you weeping when Iam alive to help you and deliver you ?.

2.WHOM ARE YOU SEEKING ?
Jesus asked this woman ’ whom are you seeking ?’.She was seeking a dead Jesus in the tomb when He had already risen from the dead. The God we seek is not a
dead , powerless and helpless God.We serve a living almighty God who will never leave us nor forsake us.

3.WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ?
Jesus asked the disciples on the way to Emmaus ’what are you talking about which makes you so sad ?’.These disciples were confused about the whole situation
after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. They were ignorant of His resurrection and were still in deep sorrow and pain and disappointment.Their whole
conversation was depressing and confusing. But Jesus wanted to help them out of this depressing conversation.Sometimes we talk endlessly about our trials and
those things which we do not understand. This only makes us sad.Let Jesus reveal the truth to us which will make us glad.

He asked them, “What are you discussing together as you walk along?†They stood still, their faces downcast.
4.ARE NOT THESE THINGS FORETOLD IN THE SCRIPTURES ?
Jesus asked these disciples ’are not these things already foretold by the prophets ?’ .They were foolish and slow of heart to beleive what was already
foretold. Many times we are confused and perplexed because we do not search the scriptures diligently. The answers, explanations, warnings, predictions are
already revealed in the Word of God.But we suffer needless fears and worries because we fail to read and understand and believe the Scriptures.

5.CHILDREN DO YOU HAVE ANY FOOD ?
Jesus asked the disciples on the sea ’children do you have any food ?’.These disciples had gone back to fishing and failed miserably to catch any fish. Jesus
met these disobedient disciples and loving enquired about their welfare and in fact did a miracle for them .He did not condemn them in anger for going back
to fishing. He lovingly restored them back to Himself and helped them in their difficulty. The Lord wants to restore those who have gone away from Him and help
them in the difficulties.

Jesus asked Simon Peter ’do you love Me ?’.Three times this question was asked Peter who had denied Jesus three times. When Peter replied that he loved Jesus
,he was given a responsibility to serve the Lord. The Lord wants us to love Him first and as a result of that love He wants us to serve Him.

7.IF HE STAYS ALIVE TILL I COME WHAT DOES IT MATTER TO YOU ?
Jesus asked Simon Peter not to worry about His plan for John.Jesus revealed to Peter about his future and how he would die.But Peter was curious about what
would happen to John. Jesus replied that Peter need not worry about God’s plan about John.He wanted Peter to follow Him. Jesus does not want us to waste our
time and energy in trying to understand His plan for others. He wants us to concentrate on following Him and fulfilling His plan for our lives.
