Lesson Title: SEXUAL INTERCOURSE

Still discussing the subject on demonic access point into our lives, I want to discuss in detail about sexual intercourse. Sex intercourse is more than a physical transaction. It is physical, emotional, and spiritual transactions. Sex is the consummation of marriage. So, when you have sex with a person, you are spiritually and emotionally getting wedded to that person. This is not a mere sexual pleasure. You are yoking or connecting your life to that person. Whatever liabilities attached to them are also transferred to you.

I had cousin who is now deceased. He narrated to me that since he had sex with a particular lady, everything in his life began to go down spiral. His life kept going down until he died prematurely (at the age of 48), and his young wife also followed. So, the next time you are tempted to momentarily satisfy your sexual craving, please consider the price attached to the package. In the Old Testament, you will observe that it was strictly forbidden for a lady to have sexual intercourse before marriage. If she was discovered to have had sexual intercourse before marriage, the penalty was death. This is how serious sexual intercourse is. It is not just fun, but lasting liabilities attached

Sexual intercourse is a covenant!!! When you exchange sexual fluid, you are exchanging blood and life, thus, translating sexual intercourse into a blood covenant. It is not just a matter of possibly contracting sexually transmitted diseases, you are also contracting spiritual and emotional diseases and other unseen liabilities. A man may be married legally to one wife, but still have other wives he is not aware of. Anyone you have sexual intercourse with becomes your wife/husband spiritually.

The transaction may have only lasted for few minutes, but the liabilities may continue to hunt and follow you the rest of your life. That is why scriptures clearly warn believers not to get involved with sexual intercourse outside of marriage. Sexual intercourse outside of marriage is like entering into Satan`s territory. The issue is not just getting married so that you can satisfy your sexual longing. It is getting married to the right person. When Samson got married to Delilah, a Philistine lady, his entire life began a downward trend until he was finally destroyed. Imagine, Satan becoming your father-in-law!!!

The next time, you are tempted for a quick sexual transaction(quickies), please know that you are mortgaging your entire destiny and that of your children, grandchildren, and your entire posterity. I know many of you may be wondering how to reverse this terrible quicksand or mud almost every one of us has gotten involved with. There is always hope no matter how dire the situation. Once you repent and choose never to revert to such practices after this revelation, the LORD shall restore your life and disconnect you from every other spouse(excess baggage) attached to your life. He will also disconnect you from the liabilities incurred because of your illicit sexual or forbidden sexual activities.
