The moment we become a born again believer in Christ we gain forty one marvelous benefits. Few believers could even name five of these assurances and so live lives that full of uncertainty. Let us look at how these benefits accrue to our relationship with the HOly Spirit, to the Father, to the Son of God as well as to other people. Let us trust the Lord to help us to fully utilize the resources, promises and benefits we have been given as children of God. Only then we will know the full truth of what Jesus said,

I came so that you might have life and have it abundantly. (John 10:10)

A. In Relationship to God the Holy Spirit

1. "Except a person be born of the water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." The Holy Spirit regenerates us through His power that assures us with His eternal life and energy. Jn 3:3-7

2. "He anoints us so that we have no need for anyone to instruct us." His guidance is perfect. I Jn.2:27

3 . "Your body becomes a temple of the Holy Spirit." He enriches us with His precious upgrade.(I Cor. 6:19)

4. "You get new gifts, abilities and capacities through the gifting of the Spirit." (I Cor. 12:11)

5. "The Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God." (Rom 8:16)

6. "You are stamped with the seal of long-promised Holy Spirit." Nothing can over rule God. (Eph. 1:13)

B. In Relationship to God the Father

l . "Through Christ we have access by one Spirit directly to the Father - no mediators needed. (Eph.2: 18)

2. "To purchase our freedom (to ransom, to redeem, to atone for) that we might be adopted as sons. Gal 4:5

3. That we can receive forgiveness of sins and inheritance among believers who are sanctified."(Acts26: 18)

4. ’’We are chosen and foreknown by God the Father and consecrated (made holy)." (I Pet. 1:2)

5 . ’We did not choose God, but He chose us (elected us) and ordained us to bear much fruit." (Jn. 15 :16)

6. "We are given the power, the right and the privilege to be called sons of God." (Jn. 1:12)

7 "Behold what manner of love the Father has given to us that we should be called sons of God." l Jn 3:1

8. ’ Our citizenship is in heaven." We now belong to the heavenly family with their connections. (Phil 3:20)

9. "If children, then heirs; heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ." Beneficiaries of His promises Rom.8: 17

10. "If any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away, all things become new.2Cor 5:17

11. "But now being made free from sin we become servants to God." (Rom. 6:22)

12. "You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood to display great deeds and virtue." (I Pet. 2:9)

1 3 . "We were reconciled to God by the death of His Son so that we will be saved by His life." (Rom. 5 :10)

14. "You are washed and sanctified (set apart as Holy for God’s purposes and plans) (I Cor. 6:11)

C. In Relationship to God the Son of God - Jesus Christ

1. "To the praise of the glory of His grace, He made us acceptable in Christ." (Eph. 1:6)

2. "For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body (the invisible body of Christ)" (I Cor. 12:13)

3. "For we are dead to sin and our new life is hidden with Christ in God." (Col. 3:3)

4. "I pray for them because You, Holy Father, have given them a love gift from the Father - Christ. Jnl7:9

5. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved and your household." (Acts 16:31)

6. "Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine (fellowship, share and be their eternal companion) with him and he with me." (Rev. 3 :20)

7. "And I give to them eternal life and they will never perish. No one will take them out of my hand." Jnl0:28

8. "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid, fearful or worried about anything." (John 14:27)
