Summary: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding...

The Bible teaches us several key principles about waiting on God to bring the right person.

1. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6)

This verse reminds us to trust in God's sovereignty and submit to His will, even when it comes to our relationships.

2. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:4)

This verse encourages us to delight in God and trust that He will give us the desires of our heart, including the right person to share our life with.

3. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6)

This verse reminds us to bring our concerns and requests to God in prayer, trusting that He will answer in His perfect timing.

Examples from Scripture

The Bible is full of examples of individuals who waited on God to bring the right person into their lives. Some examples include:

- Isaac and Rebekah (Genesis 24)

- Jacob and Rachel (Genesis 29)

- Boaz and Ruth (Ruth 2-4)

In each of these examples, we see that God brought the right person into their lives in His perfect timing.

Bible verses:

- Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

- Psalm 27:14 - "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."

- Isaiah 40:31 - "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Waiting on God to bring the right person into our lives requires trust, patience, and obedience. It's easy to get caught up in our own desires and timing, but God's ways are higher than ours. As we wait on Him, we can trust that He is working everything out for our good and that He will bring the right person into our lives at the right time.
