Summary: This sermon will be to show that at the end of their search for the King of the Jews the Magi gave their gifts in worship, and found the perfect Christmas present; that present is still available to us.
Scripture Reading-
Intro: "We three kings"…were they kings? There are conflicting theories regarding that. "Bearing gifts"…they each had a gift and today we'll look at each one means.
I. Presented with Gold
Anchor verse: Matthew 2:11
The gold represents His royalty.
II. Presented with Incense
Anchor verse: Matthew 2:11
The incense represents His divinity and relationship to the priesthood.
III. Presented with Myrrh
Anchor verse: Matthew 2:11
Myrrh was a perfume used in embalming. It represented his coming death for the world.
