Short Challenge: Worship

Lk.10:27 - Love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.

Heart: your emotions, appetites and desires. Love God with those.

Soul: your image, personality, etc. Love God with those.

Strength: your energy, resources, time, etc. Love God with those.

Mind: your intellect, thoughts, etc. Love God with those.

1 Jn.3:18 - Let us not love with words or tongue, but with action and in truth.

Jn.4:23 - Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

Not just singing!!! Worship is a life of submission and surrender to Him, living for His purposes (Rom.12:1-2). Jn.4:23 is describing a life lived for His purposes, according to the Truth of His Word and in the power of His Holy Spirit - that’s true worship and I can live that life of worship as an act of love, using my heart, soul, mind and strength to love and worship Him.

The Challenge: How can you worship God with your heart this week? How can you worship God with your Soul this week? How can you worship God with your mind this week? How can you worship God with your strength this week?
