Third Day Anointing

2 Peter 3:8 (New Living Translation)

but you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.

1st day – the early Church

2nd day – we were saved (until 31st Dec 2000)

3rd day – Today’s Church (1st Jan 2001)

Outer Court (1st Day) - Inner Court (2nd day) – Holy of holies (3rd Day)

Passover - Pentecost - Tabernacles

The Bibles gives us God’s outline for the 3rd day Church.

What Happened on the 3rd Day?

1) Resurrection of Jesus – John 20:1

The Resserection Power of Christ. Reserrects the dead in Spirit.

2) Jesus Changes water into wine - John 2:1-10

1st Miracle of Jesus was to CHANGE!

Water – Tasteless, Colourless, no smell, not much value

Wine – Tasty, Colourful, Sweet smelling and valuable.

3) Jesus found in the temple - Luke 2:46

After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.

3rd Day believers will be found on the 3rd Day.

4) Abraham Offered Isaac - Genesis 22:4

On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance.

Third day believer is Isaac and is called a Holy and living sacrafice!

5) Jonah Came out of the whale – Jonah 1:17

But the LORD provided a great fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was inside the fish three days and three nights.

3rd Day believers will be set free from their problems – The whale was the problem.

6) Joshua Crossed Jordan – Joshua 3: 1-2

3rd day believers will cross the Jordan after 3days.

7) Moses and Mount Sinai – Exodus 19:10-11

10 And the LORD said to Moses, "Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow. Have them wash their clothes 11 and be ready by the third day, because on that day the LORD will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.

1st and 2nd Day was a time of preparation but 3rd day believers will experience the power of God.

8) Restoration of Israel – Hosea 6:2

After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us,

that we may live in his presence.

3rd day believers will live in Restoration. Many are still living in revival..How long?

9) King Hezekiah 15 years added - 2 Kings 20:5-6a

Before Isaiah had left the middle court, the word of the LORD came to him: 5 "Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people, ’This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the LORD. 6 I will add fifteen years to your life.

3rd day believers will have 15 years added.

10) Queen Ester goes into the inner court – Ester 5:1

1 On the third day Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the palace, in front of the king’s hall. The king was sitting on his royal throne in the hall, facing the entrance. 2 When he saw Queen Esther standing in the court, he was pleased with her and held out to her the gold scepter that was in his hand. So Esther approached and touched the tip of the scepter. 3 Then the king asked, "What is it, Queen Esther? What is your request?

a) 3rd day believers will be in made Kings. – Royal Robes = Kings robes.

b) 3rd day believers will be able to come into the Kings Courts.

c) 3rd day believers can see the presence God.

d) God is pleased with the 3rd day believer.

e) 3rd day believers has been given the Authority by God – Golden Scepter.
