'read, Hear And Do!'

Summary: Reading, hearing and doing the Word of God is the way to spiritual growth. We can not do without this. It is like, planting, watering and growing. God Will for our life.
'READ, HEAR AND DO!'
Revelation 1:3 (KJV) Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
I. Read the Word!
A. Testament is the old word used for will. Jesus left a will before He died. We call it the New Testament.
1. We know what is in the Will when we read it.
a. Good News He left it all to us. All the promises are ours.
1. We only know it when we read the Will, the Bible.
2, To know God's perfect will for our life we need to read the New Testament.
II. Hear the Word!
A. Salvation comes when we hear the Word. Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
B. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
C. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
1. He that has ears let them hear.
III. Keep the Word!
A. We keep the Word of God by doing the Word of God. James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
1. When we act upon the Word of God it is then God sees us putting our faith in action.
2 1 Samuel 2:3 .......: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.
