Lesson #4
2:1-9. The Lord Gives Wisdom.
We are to memorize Scripture. Psalm 119:11 “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”
Wisdom is the moral and practical application of what you have learned.
You must want and seek to be wise. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
You are to be a lifelong learner.
The goal is sound wisdom, which is competence or success.
Wisdom puts you on a lifelong path that has a protected journey.
When trying to decide a matter, don’t listen to a voice. Look for a verse.
Feelings are not facts. Intuition is a feeling.
God is not going to write the answer in the sky. He has already written it in the Scriptures.
