Satan Also Sends His People In Our Lives. Series

Satan is a deceiver and a schemer who seeks to destroy our relationships and our faith. One of his tactics is to send people into our lives who may appear friendly or helpful but actually have ulterior motives. The devil sends his own agents among us, disguising themselves as innocent, to deceive and lead us astray. Let us remain vigilant and discerning, testing the spirits to distinguish between the children of light and the children of darkness. Satan's agents are active in the world, seeking to corrupt and harass us. But take heart, for God's Word equips us to recognize and resist their schemes.

In Ephesians 6:10-18, Paul reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil. Satan's agents masquerade as angels of light, spreading false teachings and deceit (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). They aim to lead us astray, exploiting our vulnerabilities and sowing discord.

Few types of people Satan sends our way are.

* False teachers and deceivers (Matthew 7:15-20)

* Wolves in sheep's clothing (Matthew 7:15)

* Divisive and quarrelsome individuals (Romans 16:17-18)

* Flatterers, liars and manipulators (Proverbs 29:5)

* Use spiritual weapons like praise, prayer, and the Blood of Jesus (Ephesians 5:19-20, Matthew 4:1-11)

Recognize and respond to Satan’s schemes:

* Through Discernment and wisdom from God (James 1:5)

* Through Biblical knowledge and understanding (2 Timothy 2:15)

* Trough Prayer and seeking God's guidance (James 4:7)

* False teachings and deceitful spirits (1 Timothy 4:1-3)

* Worldly temptations and desires (1 John 2:15-17)

* Accusations and intimidation (Revelation 12:10)

*By Resisting the devil and stand firm in faith (Ephesians 6:10-18, 1 Peter 5:8-9)

* By Using biblical wisdom and discernment to expose and reject false teachings (Matthew 7:15-20)

* By Seeking support and encouragement from faithful believers (Ephesians 4:11-16)

* Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), standing firm in truth and righteousness.

* Be aware of false teachings and half-truths, testing everything against Scripture.

* Cultivate humility and unity among believers, resisting division and pride.

* Stand firm in faith, knowing that Satan's agents will flee when we resist them (James 4:7).

As Christians, we must strive to live a life of moral excellence. This means making choices that align with God's Word, even when it's hard or unpopular. It means treating others with kindness, respect, and compassion. And it means seeking forgiveness and restoration when we fail. As we resist Satan's agents, let us remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Our struggle is not against people, but against the evil that influences and deceives them.

Therefore, we must: Love and pray for those who are deceived or influenced by Satan's agents (Matthew 5:44, 2 Corinthians 4:4)

* Share the Gospel and truth of God's Word with those who are lost or misled (Romans 10:13-15)

* Extend grace and forgiveness to those who have been used by Satan's agents (Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 3:13)

The devil will often plant individuals in our lives who seem harmless, even friendly, but whose ultimate goal is to lead us away from God's truth and into sin. These individuals may encourage us to compromise our values, to "have a little fun" and "not be so uptight." They may tempt us with worldly desires and justify sinful behavior. But we must remember that our spiritual well-being is at stake.

As Christians, we are called to be discerning and wise, to recognize the devil's schemes and resist them. We must be mindful of the company we keep and the influence they have on our lives.

The Bible teaches us that bad morals corrupt our character, and as believers, we are called to live a life that honors God and reflects His goodness.

In Proverbs 10:9, it says, "Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out." Integrity is a vital part of our Christian walk. It means being truthful, honest, and upright in all our dealings. When we live with integrity, we build trust with others and earn their respect. More importantly, we please God and reflect His character.

On the other hand, bad morals can destroy our reputation, relationships, and even our faith. When we compromise our values and give in to sinful desires, we risk losing the trust of those around us and, worse, losing our connection with God.

Let us stand firm in faith, loving and praying for those deceived, sharing the Gospel, and extending grace and forgiveness. Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world! May we be empowered by the Holy Spirit to recognize and resist Satan's agents, sharing Jesus' love and truth. Let us be sober-minded and sensible, and not be deceived by the devil's tactics. May our relationships glorify God and strengthen our faith, and may we always remain vigilant against the schemes of the enemy.
