God In The Fire Series

Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished, and he rose in haste and spoke saying to his counselors, "Did we not cast three men bound into the mists of the fire? They said, "True O king." "Look! I see 4 men loose, walking in the mist of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the 4th is like the Son of God." Daniel 3:24-25

Sometimes we find ourselves bound by the things of this world which keeps us from God. When we go through the fire, everything in and on us is burned off us and in the mists of the flames, Jesus is with us. He might not remove us from the fire but will stand with us.

Nebuchadnezzar went near the mouth of the fiery furnace and called for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to come and they did. The satraps, administrators, governors, and the king's counselors gathered and saw the fire had no power; their hair wasn't singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them.

Nebuchadnezzar said, "Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king's word, and yielded their bodies that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God! Therefore, I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego shall be cut in pieces and their houses shall be made an ash heap; because there is no other God who can deliver like this." Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the province of Babylon. Daniel 3:26-29

When God brings people through the fire, not only will he see that you don't look burned or smell like smoke, but He’ll also come through in such a way that even an unbeliever will acknowledge and give glory to God. After the fire will come elevation in ways we can't imagine.
