UNTIL HE COMES
I CORINTHIANS 11:23-26
INTRODUCTION: The Christ who died and rose again will come again. John 14:1-3; Acts 1:11; I Thess. 4:13-18. Until He comes there is:
I. The Meeting of the Christians
We have an obligation. Why do we do this?
A. Remember His Death
B. Rededicate Our Lives
C. Forgive One Another
D. Be Reminded Of Our Duty To Obey
II. The Message of the Cross
We have a proclamation. “The Lord’s death.” Methods may change but not the message. John 1:29; Heb.9:22; I Pet. 1:18-20. The cross will outlive all the critics.
III. The Miracle of the Convert
We have a celebration.
CONCLUSION: We live in light of His return!
