1. His Person - 1 Praise ye the Lord. (He is the Lord)

1. The Road Of Divine Lordship - Philippians 2: Jesus Christ is Lord -

His Persuasion - 5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus

His Position - 6 who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

His Privation - 7 but made himself of no reputation,

and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

His Procession - 8 and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself,

and became obedient unto death,

His Prosecution - even the death of the cross.

His Proclamation - 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him,

and given him a name which is above every name:

His Presentation - 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,

of things in heaven, and things in earth & things under the earth

His Profession -

It's Scope - 11 and that every tongue,

It's Scheme - should confess,

It's Script - that Jesus Christ is Lord,

His Publication - to the glory of God the Father.

2. The Rights Of Divine Lordship -

Romans 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

As Lord - Christ Alone Has The Right To Purchase Us

For to this end Christ died...that He might be Lord.

As Lord - Christ Alone Has The Right To Pardon Us

For to this end Christ died and rose and revived,

As Lord - Christ Alone Has The Right To Possess Us - For to this end Christ both died,

and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord

In Life We Are Responsible To The Lordship Of Christ -

In Death We Are Accountable To The Lordship Of Christ -

His Praise is -

Internal - 1. Praise the Lord, O my soul.

External - Psalm 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

Eternal - Dan 4:34 at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High,

and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:

Supernal - Revelation 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth,

In Soul - while I have any being

5. His Preference v Man's Helplessness 3 Put not your trust in princes

nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. (No Salvation)

Man has no - Solution for sin, Secession in sin, Salvation from sin.

6. His Permanence v Man's Hopelessness

4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

7. His Profit v Man's Heedlessness -

The Lord Alone Is -

Man's Only Home - 5 Happy is he

Man's Only Help - that hath the God of Jacob for his help

Man's Only Hope - whose hope is in the Lord his God:

8. His Power - 6 which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is:

The Source of Creation - Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God

The Force of Creation - God created the heaven and the earth

The Course of Creation - John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
