What Will We Do In Heaven? Series

Summary: This message details 5 of the things the Bible indicates we will do in heaven.
[Note: the “Look Up” verses below are ordered so that the passages you look up flow through
Hebrews and right into Revelation.]
The Bible provides us some clues as to what we will do in heaven:
1. Relish the rest of having completed earth’s race.
- Look up: Hebrews 4:9.
- Other Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 1:7 (rest to troubled); 2 Timothy 4:7 (kept the faith); Hebrews
3:11, 18; Hebrews 4:9-11; Revelation 14:13.
2. Enjoy friendships that will deepen for eternity.
- Look up: Hebrews 12:22-24.
- Other Scripture: Romans 8:15; 2 Corinthians 6:18; Ephesians 2:19; Hebrews 2:11; 1 John 1:7.
3. Participate in dynamic, joyful worship of the One who died to save us.
- Look up: Revelation 5:11-14.
- Other Scripture: Revelation 7:9-12; Revelation 11:17; Revelation 19:1-8; Isaiah 6:3; John 4:23-24.
4. Celebrate at meals that are even better than Mom’s.
- Look up: Revelation 19:7-9.
- Other Scripture: Matthew 8:11; Matthew 22:4; Luke 13:29; Luke 14;16; John 2:1-11; Revelation 19:7-9; Isaiah 25:6.
5. Provide service to God through fulfilling work.
- Look up: Revelation 22:3.
