Topic: *THE POWERS THAT BE AS ORDAINED BY GOD ALMIGHTY (PT. 2)*

Romans 13:4-7 King James Version (KJV)

4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

Beloved, the Powers that be have been set up by God for your own good. Civil authority is needed in every and any human institution.

It is instituted by God to protect you who is living right and are not interested in evil or wrongdoing. It is instituted by God for you to have justice when you are offended. God has given them the power to punish when one is found guilty by the laws of the civil society.

Anybody in power or at a position of a ruler like the police, military, judges etc was put there or made so by God Almighty. He has them in His set up to make sure His those who follow His ways or are dedicated to Him are always safe and protected.

Know one thing, whatever happens with these people concerning you, is in God's plan for you. Sometimes though innocent you will go down then be vindicated later, at other times you will be vindicated instantly. God knows all so be subject to the Powers that be as God has stated.

These Powers have dedicated their lives and time, sacrificed their comfort among other things to govern the society and make sure it doesn't become a lawless society. These Powers need to be properly taken care of with additional incentives to encourage them to go on carrying out their duties.

Part of your taxes, custom duties, tolls and other legally mandatory fees you need to pay to the society are what is used for their upkeep and other things concerning them so you need to pay all your taxes, custom duties, tolls and bills.

You need to give them respect and honour. For some of these Powers you have to fear them to put your behaviour in check so you don't fall into their hands.

People claim, "I don't fear anybody or anything" and so on but when they fall into the hands of the police or the law courts they become like puppies left in the rain. Beloved live right, pay all monies you have to pay to the civil society and live a peaceful life.

Beloved, *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Jesus obeyed authorities in the civil society and even paid his taxes. He was at peace with the Powers that be. You as a follower must do same and be at peace with the Powers that be in your society.

Prayer: Father please help me to live right and not fall into the hands of the Powers that be for wrongdoing. Keep me Lord. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
