Summary: The more the world we know today become antichrists it is shaping itself up for a leader that will enforce its philosophy. John is given a revelation of that it chapter 6 of the book of Revelations.
The One World Leader
Rev. 6:1-3
In Chapter 4:
• The Rapture takes place “Come up hither”
• The believers and the angels are all around the throne of God
In Chapter 5:
• God the Father sits on the throne holding a book which is the deed and title to the earth
• No man is found worthy to open the book or to look even thereon
• One who is worthy is described as the Lion of the tribe of Judah and a Lamb as it has been slain
While this is the scene that is in heaven at this time on earth there is another event taken place.
See: Revelation 6:1-2
Point: Each of the seven seals on this book (scroll) represents a form of judgment of God. We will see later there are seven trumpets and vials. They all represent perfect judgment!
Mention: Rev. 16:7 True and righteous are thy judgments
“Come and see” This is evidence that from heaven John is able to see what is taken place on the earth.
See: Vs.2a And I saw, behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow
1. His Person
This person that sits upon the horse is the antichrist
Mention: Daniel 7:8 The little horn mention
Also: 2 Thessa. 2:1-3 The man of sin
See: Rev. 13:1 “rise up out of the sea” The sea is the population of the world
Point: This man is the product of a system that is antichrists
See: 1 John 4:1-4 The spirit of antichrists
When the deity of Christ is rejected or the truth of God’s Word it is considered to be antichrists!
Mention: 2 John 7 Who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh
Examples: To make laws for abortion, same sex marriage or anything else that goes against God’s Word is antichrists because Jesus the Christ is the Word.
2. His Peace
Vs.2 The white horse and then the bow without an arrow are symbols or victory and peace
His riding on a white horse is an imitation of Jesus the Christ ref. Rev. 19:11
Mention: 2 Thessa. 2:4 He sits in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God
See: Rev. 6:2 He went forth conquering and to conquer (I believe this how peace comes about)
See: Daniel 11:36 This verse in this passage is also future prophecy of the coming antichrist
See: Daniel 7:8 He will pluck up any other kingdom of power
He will bring in what the world has been greatly longing for “Peace”, but it will only be temporal.
See: Daniel 9:27 He shall confirm a covenant with many for one week
See: Daniel 8:23-25a His peace will be temporary
1 Thessa. 5:3 For when they shall say peace and safety sudden destruction cometh upon them
3. His Popularity
Rev. 6:2 a crown was given unto him
In heaven the believers will be worshipping their King and casting crowns before Him as King of kings and Lord of lords and on earth they will be crowning their king.
Mention: Rev. 13:3 all the world wondered after the beast (antichrist)
See: John 5:43 I am come in My Father’s name, and ye receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
4. His Power
How will he accomplished such feat?
See: 2 Thessa. 2:6-9 He will be permitted by God as the Holy Spirit will not restrained any longer and his power will be given by Satan. Vs.9 All who follow him will be destroyed Vs.10-12
