Who Do You Say You Are? Series

In the world today, people often define themselves by their accomplishments, possessions, or status. But as followers of Jesus, our identity is not found in earthly things.

In Matthew 16, Jesus asks His disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" Peter responds, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus declares that this truth is revealed by the Father in heaven.

As children of God, our identity is rooted in our relationship with Him. We are:

* Forgiven sinners, redeemed by His blood

* New creations, made alive in Christ

* Children of light, called to shine in darkness

* Ambassadors of heaven, representing God's love

* Saints, set apart for His purpose

Let us not find our worth in momentary things, but in the eternal truth that we are His. May our lives reflect the glory of our Father in heaven.

Make this as your Confession and Identity statement in Christ:

"I am [Your Name], a beloved child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. I am a new creation, made alive in Him, and a partaker of His divine nature. I am a saint, set apart for God's purpose, and a member of the body of Christ. I am forgiven, justified, and sanctified by His grace. I am a temple of the Holy Spirit, and a vessel for His use. I am a light in the darkness, called to shine His glory to the world. I am a conqueror, victorious in Christ, and a joint heir with Him of all things. I am loved, accepted, and complete in Him, and I will walk in the fullness of my identity in Christ, to His glory."

Remember to insert your actual name in the statement, and make it personal to you. This statement is a declaration of who you are in Christ, based on scriptural truths. Repeat it to yourself often, and let it sink deep into your heart, to build your faith and identity in Him.

If you are a woman declare this:

"I, [Your Name], declare that I am a beloved daughter of the Most High God, born of His spirit and royalty in His kingdom. As a child of the King, I am crowned with glory and honor, and I walk in the confidence of my heavenly identity. I am a reflection of His glory, a carriers of His presence, and a vessel of His love. I am favored, blessed, and highly esteemed by my Father in heaven. I am a daughter of the Most High, and I will walk in the fullness of my inheritance in Him.

"For the Lord has said, 'You are my daughter, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.' (Matthew 3:17)

"I declare that I am a joint heir with Christ, and all the promises of God are yes and amen in my life. (2 Corinthians 1:20)

"I am a daughter of the King, and I will reign with Him forever. (Revelation 20:6)

"Let this declaration be a reminder of my true identity, and may I walk in the power and grace of my heavenly Father, in Jesus' name. Amen."

Remember to insert your actual name in the declaration and speak it out loud with confidence and faith. May this declaration inspire you to walk in the fullness of your identity as a daughter of the Most High God!

You can declare this for Sons and daughters and on yourself.
