Summary: Your anointing needs validation from a source besides God, though he anoints us first he yet has to have the audience.

I’m Going In

2 Samuel 5: 1-3 1 All the tribes of Israel came to David in Hebron and said: “Here we are, your bone and your flesh. 2 In days past, when Saul was our king, it was you who led the Israelites out and brought them back. And the LORD said to you, ‘You shall shepherd my people Israel and shall be commander of Israel.’”3 When all the elders of Israel came to David in Hebron, King David made an agreement with them there before the LORD, and they anointed him king of Israel.

Deuteronomy 1:15 15 So I took outstanding men of your tribes, wise and experienced, and made them your leaders as officials over thousands, over hundreds, over fifties and over tens, and other tribal officers.

2 Samuel 5: 6-8 6 † Then the king and his men set out for Jerusalem against the Jebusites who inhabited the region. David was told, “You cannot enter here: the blind and the lame will drive you away!” which was their way of saying, “David cannot enter here.” 7 But David did take the stronghold of Zion, which is the City of David. 8 On that day David said: “All who wish to attack the Jebusites must strike at them through the water shaft. The lame and the blind shall be the personal enemies of David.” That is why it is said, “The blind and the lame shall not enter the palace.”

God is raising David up and when he raises David up because he is literally trying to comfirm what has already been done in his life

1) David is already anointed 2) David has already defeated Goliath

He’s anointed who’s waiting for an audience to embrace who he really is

So God is not trying to make you more anointed but placing him in a position so his audience embrace his anointing..

In this God is trying to release you to an audience that can appreciate the level anointing that you possess

He’s not trying to make us more anointed; he’s trying to bring us into an atmosphere that matches the anointing we already have.

This is not play time because the enemy has on his hit list

I’m making hell nervous

I’m so determined to live that I’m willing to throw up my deuces and tell people piece out.

I’ve learned that people can’t love who leads because they don’t love themselves.

I feel like the Jefferson, “we’re moving on up to eastside”.

To recognize this:

You have to have greatness in you to sense greatness

You have to have God in you to sense God. Our capacity is for greater than what we really possess

Your value is not defined by the size of the crowd or the capacity of the crowd you minister to but it’s really about the capacity you minister from

Anybody can be great when they’re ministering in front of a lot of people, but can you be great when you look at a few and still be obedient to your assignment

When no one’s: 1) Clapping 2) Giving 3) Showing Up

I still have to be on A Game when no ones is celebrating who you really are in God .You have to take a moment to have a conversation with your future, I’ve been talking to people that are where I want to be or where I’m going.

Talk to your future as if it were now.

Covenant Relationship

You cannot continue to enter into covenant while people are entering into comfort

Covenant costs you – Covenant means there’s blood shed

Real Covenant is painful

Sickness or health – Better or worst – Rich or poor

Comfort;

If you make me mad I’m gone

If you have a moment I’m gone

You cannot enter into covenant w/ people and they enter into comfort

Anointing has to flow from the top down

The leaders anointed David to legitimize or validate his position

Anytime there is a valid anointing the anointing has to come from two places From the Leaders (Elders) & From God

He has to be affirmed to fulfill his assignment and not just function

May God remember you like Noah, favour you like Moses, honour you like Mary, fight for you like the Israelites, prosper you like Isaac, promote you like Joseph, intervene for you like Esther, protect

you like Daniel, use you like Paul, heal you like Naaman, answer you like Elijah, anoint you like David, and keep you safe like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.
