WARRI GIRL: GOD’S BATTLE AXE AND WEAPON OF WARFARE.

“Thou art my battle ax and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms; -----------the horse and his rider” Jer.51:20-21

This is God’s message through me to a girl in Warri living at No. 2013 Warri / Heaven Road, Warri City. Her name is Miss Sought-After- a very prophetic name. God is seeking for her. And because God is seeking for her Satan is also seeking for her to destroy her. Unfortunately Miss Sought -After is not mindful of this evil plan of Satan.

Let me quickly state how Satan has mapped out the strategy for her destruction. Satan made her Father to have 3 wives and several concubines in every area of the city. His meager income can barely feed the family of 10 known and identifiable children. The ones from the concubines are yet to be fully accounted for. As a result Miss Sought-After’s mother had to settle to petty trade of selling cigarette; illicit gin (i.e. ogogoro) mixed with various herbs; sweets, kola nuts, bitter kola and biscuits in one of the garages in the city.

The income from her petty trade can barely feed Miss Sought-After and her 3 siblings. The result of this inadequacy in their living standard pushed Miss Sought-After to join a group of girls in the city who hang out with men and young guys in hotels etc. for sexual activity .At the end the men would part with a few hundreds or thousands of naira notes for her. Do not get me wrong, Miss Sought-After is not into full prostitution but just in the process if something drastic is not done to save her.

At 16 years and in SSS2 Miss Sought -After is already losing count of the men she is sleeping with or the abortions she has undergone in the hands of the quack medics. This year alone she has undertaken 3 abortions. 4 of the girls on her Survival Strategy Group have already lost their lives through abortion/ strange ailments arising from sleeping with some ritualists who used their virtues/womb for wealth. Miss Sought-After is not unconscious of the risk she is exposing herself to. Yet she has to survive.

Many other girls in her category i.e. from economically and societally- challenged background are facing this kind of temptation from the opposite sex to meet up. Many like her have fallen, others have chosen to say no and trust God to make a way out for them. What is not helping matters for Miss Sought -After is that there are girls in her Survival Strategy Group who are not from poor background. They like the famous Late Cynthia just love the fun of hanging out for drinks and sexual pleasure, get some little money to improve their wardrobes and keep their handsets and BB working. Some of them smoke and do several other unprintable things.

It is unfortunate that most of these girls’ parents are not aware of what their daughters do while they the parents are at work. Some parents have woken up shock to discover lately what their daughters have been doing. Others are already bereaved of their once loving daughters to death arising from abortion which is very rampant in the city because of indiscriminate sex. In fact so-called decent people are afraid of associating with a Warri-Girl. A nice Christian woman warned this writer not to bother preaching to any Warri-Girl except he is ready to lost his salvation and go to hell. I disagree with this pontificating posture. The woman talking has forgotten that her daughters may be doing even worse than Miss Sought-After without her knowledge. That is why the scriptures enjoin us not to judge others. Remember when a finger is pointed four is facing the pointer.

Back to Miss Sought-After who is God’s subject of attention for now. A few times she has sat down to reflect on how life has treated her so unfairly by making her come from such a home. She has often wished her parents were rich, she will go to school to fulfill her lifelong desire of being a Chartered Accountant, married to a hard working Lawyer or a Medical Doctor. But then, one thing has been bothering her -she is wondering why the girls from rich background are sleeping around and messing up their lives instead of pursuing their academics and future ambition.

God has asked me to respond to Miss Sought –After’s sincere and worrisome concern. God said that Miss Sought -After and all other girls who indulge in sexual immorality are being manipulated by the devil through the sex demons he the devil has unleashed on the world before the return of Jesus Christ. The Devil has a little glimpse of how great the destiny of Miss Sought- After and those girls are. He also knows how appealing sexual sins and perversions are to the Youths and young adults hence, he deploys it as a tool to get them down and destroy God’s purpose for their lives.
