God Has Done Great Things

“He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

52 He has put down the mighty from their thrones,

53 He has filled the hungry with good things,

And the rich He has sent away empty.”

Luke 1:51-53

God chose the peasant virgin girl and an obscure village not likely even known by Augustus Caesar, to bring forth his only son. Now, if it were not for Jesus, most of us would not even know Augustus existed. "He has put down the mighty from their thrones and exalted the lowly."

"He has given a name above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow and every tongue confess, "He is Lord." to the glory of God the father."

God Celebrated the Birth of His Son

• The Throne is His Habitation-(King) 11

• Messiah is His Title-(Prophet)

• Deliverer is His Occupation-(Priest)

• He brought honor to God

• He brought grace to men. Jn 1:14
