Summary: If we bear the mark of Christ upon our body, we must depart from iniquity.

TEXT: 2TIMOTHY 2:19

This is a message of confidence to the believer that no matter what we see today, weather it has happened since the era of old testament, that God can niether change nor his word change .

The word of God has it seal,

The standard and guarantee of God, still stands.

no matter what people believe, say and do.

No one can decieve God Almighty. Actually God knows his own.

Even the attacks of the powers of darkness against the doctrine of Christ cannot shake it; it stands firm, and weathers all the storms which have been raised against it.The old testament and the New Testament, are still firm;

Acording to(2 Timothy 2:19). Apostle Paul

expresses our comfort - that the Lord knows those that are his, and those that are not; so God knows them that he will never lose them. Though the faith of some be weakened, yet the Lord is said to know the ways of the righteous, Psalms 1:6. None can overthrow the faith of any whom God hath chosen.

He then warn those that

Are called the children of God every one who names the name of Christ must depart from iniquity. Those who would have the comfort of the privilege must make conscience of the duty. If we bear the mark of Christ upon our body, we must depart from iniquity, else he will not own us; he will say in the great day (Matthew 7:23), Depart from me,I never knew you, you workers of iniquity. Whatever errors are introduced into the church, can never remove one bite of the word the foundation of God standeth sure, his purpose can never be defeated. God hath some in the church who are his and whom he knows to be his. Professing Christians who name the name of Christ, those that are called by his name, and therefore are bound to depart from iniquity; for Christ gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, Titus 2:14.

then it cannot change Here we see what we may comfort ourselves with,

This is a verse of confidence and victory. Significantly, every Christian should understand the implications of this verse. No matter what circumstances one may be facing, No matter what they may encounter weather stressful or discouraging they may seem, every child of God must remember that the foundation of our hope is God, and that foundation will never be destroyed.

Disappointments must not be allowed to embitter us. Nor should we allow them to stop us from being fully committed to serving God in our lives. Our lights must continue to shine brightly. Our hope has a solid foundation that does not shake.
