o Not by works – but by faith – just justify – declared not guilty
* Shades of white – “just” 100% pure (Job 9:2)
Noah – Genesis 6:8-9 – Why did God favor him?
o Not because – God plays favorites or his family
o Because: He believed God about the rain…enough to act…alone! (Hebrew 11:7)
Abraham – Genesis 15:1, 5-6, 21:1-2 (16 years later)
