Summary: After the fall, the understanding and communication with the Trinity were lost. Around 4000 years passed between Adam’s time and Jesus’ time in which the knowledge and relationship with the Triune God were lost.
After the fall, the understanding and communication with the Trinity were lost. Around 4000 years passed between Adam’s time and Jesus’ time in which the knowledge and relationship with the Triune God were lost.
During this time, the communication link between humans and the Father God was broken. Humans were unable to talk to Father God.
During this time, the communication link between humans and the Holy Spirit was broken. The Holy Spirit and mankind were unable to communicate with one another.
For 4000 years, Trinity was present, but mankind lost understanding and communication with all three members of the Trinity.
Especially mankind lost the communication with Father God for 4000 years.
In New Testament, Jesus tells only the son knows the Father (Matthew 11:27). Everyone who want to know the Father God must approach through Jesus. The only way for anybody to know the Father is via Jesus.
The Old Testament mostly talks about Jesus’ arrival as the Messiah, and there was little understanding about Father God. All prophets foretold of the first coming of Jesus as a Messiah and made no mention of the Trinity.
If we just had the Old Testament and no New Testament, we will only be able to see God as a single person and not as a triune being. The Holy Spirit, often known as God’s Spirit, was mentioned 10-15 times in the Old Testament but not as a member of the Trinity.
The people of the Old Testament lived without the knowledge that they have a wonderful and loving Father God. How many prodigal sons missed Father God’s love during Old Testament period?
When Jesus came, he started to speak and reveal about the Father God i.e. Father God’s will and Father God’s Happiness.
Jesus did everything in accordance with Father’s will. What Jesus sees the Father doing, Jesus was doing the same.
Jesus showed the nature of Father God to humanity. Jesus teaches a prayer that Father God likes. Jesus emphasizes on the happiness of Father even unto death. Jesus died on the cross as it is the Father’s will.
Cross of Jesus again opened a way to communicate and understand the Triune God. A sinner can speak to Father through Jesus.
The communication chain with the Trinity, which was broken through the fall was restored at the Cross.
Father sent Jesus — Jesus died on the cross—The Holy Spirit brings the importance of Jesus sacrifice.
When we speak to any one member of the Trinity, they begin to reveal information about the other Trinity members. When we converse with Jesus, Jesus brings up the Father. In our conversations with the Holy Spirit, He will bring up Jesus. Father will bring up Jesus when we talk to him.
We are extremely fortunate to be living in a time and place where the communication or link with the Trinity is established and the understanding about the Trinity is slowly restored. But despite this established link, we fail to recognize which member of Trinity is speaking to us. Each member of the Trinity has a unique voice, tone, authority, power, working style, and office. We merely state that God speaks to us without identifying which particular member of the Trinity spoke and helped you.
All three members of the Trinity are involved in every miracle and work. Each Trinity member has the ability to perform a miracle on their own, but yet involve other members of Trinity.
Each person in the Trinity can be seen separately in heaven. It is preferable that on Earth we learn to speak to each member of Trinity independently.
Start involving the members of the Trinity involved in your daily communications, work, and needs. The presence of God will freely flow around us when we include the Trinity.
When we speak to Jesus for something, let Jesus lead you to Father God. Vice versa.
A member of Trinity always involves other members of Trinity. There is no selfishness but there is a selfless nature among the members of the Trinity.
In our daily life, take time to ask Father about Jesus, Jesus about the Father, and the Holy Spirit about Jesus. The understanding of Trinity from members of Trinity is very wonderful and too difficult to comprehend. Dedicate and set aside time to spend time, interact with, and grow in the presence of the Father God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit independently.
