Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child; and children will take a stand against their parents and will have them put to death.

A. Some Biblical facts about Parents

1. Children will rise up against their parents to put them to death

Matthew 10:21 (Amplified Bible)

Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child; and children will take a stand against their parents and will have them put to death.

Mark 13:12 (Amplified Bible)

And brother will hand over brother to death, and the father his child; and children will take a stand against their parents and [have] them put to death.

2. Parents dedicate their child in the temple in his early years

Luke 2:27 (Amplified Bible)

And prompted by the [Holy] Spirit, he came into the temple [enclosure]; and when the parents brought in the little child Jesus to do for Him what was customary according to the Law,

12. Parents lay up treasures for their child not the other way around.
