ONE TOUCH OF GLORY AND WE CRY HOLY!
Isaiah 60 “Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all the nations to see! For the glory of the LORD is shining upon you. 2 Darkness as black as night will cover all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the LORD will shine over you. 3 All nations will come to your light. Mighty kings will come to see your radiance.

Habakkuk’s Prayer
3 This prayer was sung by the prophet Habakkuk:* 2 I have heard all about you, LORD, and I am filled with awe by the amazing things you have done. In this time of our deep need, begin again to help us, as you did in years gone by. Show us your power to save us. And in your anger, remember your mercy.
He pleas for fruit when the hand of man had brought Judgments, & oppression.
At the end of his book he ends with a note of revival.
Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vine; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, 18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation. 19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength! He will make me as surefooted as a deer* and bring me safely over the mountains.
Revivalists such as Habakkuk often found themselves in the midst of a dark time of oppression. Their personal lives were not always easy.
Jeremiah told not to marry because of troubles to come
Ezekiel lost his wife when Jerusalem fell
Joel following a natural plague
John the Baptist Roman occupiers & false religious leaders
Jonah after the whale
The one thing they had in common was their connection to the river of God coming from the throne.
Their message
Their perspective
Their power came from Him!
Life & circumstances were such that they had to plug into the river!
In the river they were able to see clearly & proclaim with boldness their revelation of Him!
One touch of the glory that surrounds the throne is all it takes!
Isaiah & Ezekiel both had encounters with the throne and with the living creatures around the throne.
They were never the same! The glory of God changed them forever.
In Ezekiel’s encounter He described the four living creatures who live around the throne
Consider Ezekiel 1:1-28
Points to ponder
1) They (the four living creatures) move with the throne
2) They are in constant revival.. every time they look at the throne they cry Holy Holy Holy even though they have been doing this for eternity every time they look at Him who sits upon the throne they cry out as if they had never seen Him before! Such is the effect of His glory!
3) When the throne moves over an area His holiness fills the area.
What did Ezekiel see?
He saw four living creatures powerful and dreadful (Amplified bible)
He saw a storm with fire inside its self
He saw lightning’s flashing
He saw wheels or what looked like wheels always moving
He heard sounds of thunder and the cries of Holy Holy Holy
He saw the shekina Glory of God fill the air the temple is thick with Glory!
He saw that when the living creatures lifted their wings the throne rose up
He saw that when the creatures put their wings down the throne came down
What causes the throne to come down?
When the atmosphere of worship & holiness is as it is in heaven, then the throne comes down.
For example:
Exodus 13:21-22 leading the children of Israel through the wilderness
Exodus 14:19-20 protected Israel at the Red Sea.
Exodus 19:9 appeared to Moses on Sinai
Exodus 40:34-38 filled the tabernacle at its dedication
Lev 16:2 Stood above the mercy seat always
1 Kings8:10-11 Appeared when Solomon dedicated the temple
Luke 2:8-9 appeared at Christ’s birth
Matt 3:16 appeared at His Baptism
Matt 17:5 at the transfiguration
The Lords prayer makes it clear “As it is in heaven so shall it be on earth” the atmosphere of heaven will invade the earth. Call it in! cry out for Him! One touch of this glory will bring a change.
The thing about revivals in the past is that God was doing something new and fresh
His throne came down and men caught a glimpse of his glory and like the living creatures started crying Holy Holy Holy.
In Wellington New Zealand recently in our Glory meetings a young Buddhist man came into this glory. He had never seen or experienced the living God. In moments he began to weep and cry Holy Holy Holy with the songs, I asked him what was happening and He said Jesus! I see Jesus. At this point he surrendered to Jesus. Because one touch in the Glory is all it takes.
